#ldsconf

This weekend was the 185th Semiannual General Conference of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. While we didn’t have tickets to any of the four sessions, Will and I drove up to Salt Lake Saturday morning and watched a session in the Tabernacle on Temple Square. My heart is SO full of love for the church and the gospel of Jesus Christ. What a time to be alive in the work of the Lord!! One of my favorite quotes of this weekend was from Elder Stanfill, “There is no darkness so dense, so menacing, or so difficult that it cannot be overcome by light.” No matter how dark this world or our lives may seem to get, the good and the light and the truth will always win. What comfort that brings! I can think of no greater message to hold so dearly to in these last days. Jesus Christ lives and He love ALL of His children. Whatever your beliefs may be, whatever you may be struggling with, however far or close you may think you are from His rescue, He loves you. I am so grateful for the messages shared this weekend and the opportunity to live close enough to enjoy conference weekend in Salt Lake. Happy Sunday everybody!
